October 2019 Newsletter
Another month has flown by and whilst we continue to closely monitor the industry and markets for you, we also have a few financial wealth areas to update you on.
In this month’s newsletter, we discuss your total super balance and several wealth accumulation strategies that can be applied. Our short video then explains the difference between nominal and real rate of return, which is an important consideration when assessing your investment’s performance. We also take a look at the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card providing those eligible with a variety of benefits that are not just limited to health.
Did you know a Bill recently passed through parliament is building upon the previously passed ‘Protecting Your Super Package’? We review this with you, and we’ve then included a TED Talk by longevity researcher Susan Pinker, that highlights the importance of social interaction, especially as you age. We found this incredibly insightful and hope you do too.
Lastly, for a bit of fun and to help you test your financial knowledge surrounding estate planning, we have put together a special crossword. It’s some good brain training and the answers will feature in next month’s newsletter.
Kind Regards,
The team at
